Summer intern at ASA.

Summer intern Celine Olcott will join us for the months of May and June.  When Bill and Cynthia are traveling, Celine will be the friendly face around the center, making sure everything stays ship-shape and answering any questions you may have.

Originally from New York City, Celine will graduate this May with a Master’s degree in Accounting from the Wake Forest University School of Business. After graduation, Celine will join the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) as a Postgraduate Technical Assistant and will aid with the accounting standards-setting process. This means she is moving from Winston-Salem back to the northeast, closer to her family.  She will live in Connecticut during her one-year fellowship with the FASB.  This is very prestigious honor and we are thrilled Celine was selected!

During her undergraduate time at Wake Forest, Celine interned with PricewaterhouseCoopers in their New York City “deals” practice.

While at Wake Forest, Celine has served as a teaching assistant for many accounting courses.  She also served as President of the Alpha Kappa Psi business fraternity.  Celine is a hard worker and we are happy to have her with us before she leaves for her professional career!summer intern

Outside of school, Celine is an adventure seeker. In high school, she raced competitively on her school’s alpine ski team.

Additionally, she loves to travel and has visited 20 countries and counting.

You can also see her quiet sense of humor as she gazes over tea.  When you are at the center and see Celine, stop and say hello!

Uhhh….where will Bill and Cynthia be?

We will be mostly around during May, but less so in June.  In May, we are taking a quick weekend break to celebrate our anniversary (17 years, and happily counting!). In June, while the boys are in camps, we are taking a quick trip to Rocky Mountain National Park near Boulder, CO to do some hiking and sightseeing.  We will be easy to reach if Celine needs us, or if you need anything.
