Meet Caroline Rassenfoss! Our summer intern
We hope you are enjoying your summer and finding places to change your routine. We support our faculty doing the same.
Bill and Cynthia will travel to upstate New York in early July, with our sons, to visit Bill’s parents, sisters and extended family. We love our family time together with traditions of barbecues, outings to Lake Delta, s’mores by the campfire and fireworks on Independence Day. In early August, the four of us will travel to the Canadian Rockies to enjoy a week outdoors in Banff National Park and Yoho National Park.
Our summer intern supports you while we are traveling
While we are gone, your capable and caring faculty will be onsite working with your children. Additionally, to provide support for them and for you, again this summer we have hired an intern to be on-site several times each week, and to be on call if any needs arise between visits.
As we have done occasionally in prior years, we have hired a Wake Forest student athlete. We are thrilled to introduce to you Caroline Rassenfoss, a rising senior at Wake. Caroline is from Louisville, Kentucky and plays on the women’s volleyball team.
What’s our summer intern like?
She’s tall! At 6’2”, you’ll likely spot her if you are at the center together. She is terrific and has a friendly, engaging personality. Caroline has two sisters and loves art, ice cream, spending time with friends and family, and traveling.
She went on a mission trip to Puerto Rico last spring with Athletes in Action. She is on campus this summer taking classes during the second session of summer school and practicing for a strong fall season with the Deacons!
By the way, we are posting this blog on June 17, as it is Caroline’s birthday. Happy birthday Caroline! We are happy to welcome you to our community at A Step Ahead this summer!
Bill and Cynthia will be online each day while we travel, except for August 4-5 while we are in Yoho National Park. Feel free to email us or call the center anytime, and we’ll get back to you right away!
