Updates to tutoring calendar – for changes in WSFCS school dates due to make-ups for hurricanes and snow

Welcome to 2019! We wish everyone a happy and learning-filled new year!

Last year seemed to be a bit crazy in terms of weather events and school closures. Between hurricanes and an early snow, the Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools have added five dates to their school calendar. They are as follows:

January 22

March 29

June 7, 10 and 11

We have updated our calendar and will be open on January 22, March 29, and June 7.

We had originally planned for June 7 to be our last day for spring tutoring. We anticipate that will still be appropriate for many students and families. If your student, particularly a high school student, would benefit from tutoring for final exams held on June 10 and 11, we are happy to work with you on a case-by-base basis. Just contact your tutor or Bill Tessien and we’ll work it out.

Fingers crossed for an uneventful rest of the winter season!
